Six Flags Great America Gurnee, Illinois 1999 Page Eight
I love great turnarounds like this one on stand up coasters. You really feel the turn being so far above the track.
Here's the second loop on this fun coaster. I wish the coaster had B&M standup trains instead of Intamin trains because they're much more comfortable. There has been rumors about the Iron Wolf being moved to a smaller Six Flags park for Great America to get a bigger stand up but I say no to that because Iron Wolf is one of the best and bigger doesn't mean better.
Spaceley's Sprocket Rockets (say that 3 times fast) was added in 1998 when Camp Cartoon Planet was built. It is a Vekoma Roller Skater like at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom but with custom cars. Click here for more Six Flags Great America photos.
