Walking up to the entrance to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom you are completely surrounded by coasters as most of them were built in the front of the park leaving the back for all of the animals and marine life.



I really liked this switch by the parks entrance.  We arrived too late to see the park open but it would be nice if they had a costumed character come out to turn the park on every day.



Being a theme park that strives to help people connect with the worlds animal and marine life there were real or artistic representations of creatures everywhere.



Even some of the coasters are animal themed like the Cobra roller coaster.



The Cobra is a Zierer Tivoli coaster that was added to the park in 2000.  It is a wonderfully fun coaster for everyone.
