Superman The Ultimate Flight roller coaster at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Vallejo, California

A little bit down the midway from Batman The Ride is another DC Comics great.

Superman Ultimate Flight has been thrilling guests at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom since 2012.

Superman Ultimate Flight is a Premiere Rides Sky Rocket II production coaster. As of 2019 there are nine of these around the world and this is the first of two of them on this trip.

Superman is the second Skyrocket II that I have been on. The first was Tempesto at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. This one is worlds better than Tempesto because it does not have the "comfort collar" over the shoulder restraint in addition to the rides lap bar.

Superman Ultimate Flight just had the lap bar/shin guard restraints. That means no painful "comfort collar", you get to put your arms up and all the way one hundred and fifty feet up there in the sky you can really just hang there.
