The Superman Ride Of Steel Rollercoaster At Six Flags America, Largo, MD

Sitting in the back of Superman the airtime coming over the lift was great.  The 70+ MPH speed at the bottom of the hill was pure bliss.  The wind ripped through my hair (what little of it I have left) and the adrenaline rush while speeding through a turn close to the ground was fantastic.

This was my favorite part of Superman.  As the evening progressed and the sun went away I could see the top of the Washington Monument all lit up in the distance.  That was really cool.

After two high speed helices Superman ends up with some more ejector seat airtime.

Here's one last pop of air before hitting the brakes.  Superman was the highlight of my trip to Six Flags America.  After getting all of the adult coasters in (I missed out on Six Flags America's junior coaster) I headed back to Superman to end the night with ride after ride without having to get off.
