Just like my #1 steel coaster; Velocicoaster at Universal's Islands of Adventure, people come back into the station on Outlaw Run with two expressions.  The first is of pure terror because the ride almost killed you and the other is a big grin because the ride almost killed you.  Outlaw Run is that good.



 Fire in the Hole has one of the coolest signs with fire built into it.



Fire in the Hole is always a good ride.  It is certainly one of the best family coasters on the planet.



Looking around Silver Dollar City it brought a smile to my face seeing a familiar name.  Lisa Rau was Silver Dollar City's Director of Public Relations so of course she was a "Mistress of Oratory Art".  When employees at Silver Dollar City hit twenty-five years working at the park they are celebrated with a advertisement somewhere in the park.  Unfortunately Lisa passed away last year but it is good to see her memory live on at Silver Dollar City.



A little tip to have a wonderful day at Silver Dollar City.  Arrive at least an hour before the park opens.  Guests are free to roam Main Street to hit the shops, grab some breakfast, watch a craftsperson, and enjoy some music before the park opens.
