One thing to note is that Miner's Mountain Express will be the first coaster at Silver Dollar that crosses over guest walkways.  The new Daredevil Pass will connect Wildfire and Powder Keg and with Miner's Mountain Express squeezed into that corner of the park you will be able to experience the ride no matter if you hop on board for a ride or just want to enjoy it from the ground.



The station for Miner's Mountain Express is going to be three stories tall.  The coaster will enter the building in the space to the left.  Riders will enter the doorway to the right and will go up to the second and third floors as they work their way through the queue. 



Here is the inside of the station for Miner's Mountain Express.  The train will leave and head towards Powder Keg before turning around and heading up the first of two lifts.

Later in the ride there is a station flythrough as the coaster will go through the building two stories over the station floor.  When guests are in the third story of the queue they will be able to get a up close view of the train as it speeds right past them.



The majority of the work that has been completed has been putting in footers, adding the rockwork around the site, and starting on the station.  Looking around there are a few bits of structure waiting to go vertical.  A few days after the announcement these supports ended up getting installed.  There are a few footers over by Powder Keg that need to be completed but for the most part as each day goes by we're going to see supports going up and by Silver Dollar City's Fan Fest in September we should start seeing track go up.  What has me excited is during the American Coaster Enthusiast's Coaster Christmas event in November there are going to be a significant portion of Miner's Mountain Express up for us to explore during our construction tour.  If you want to come make sure to join the American Coaster Enthusiasts.



Mack Rides of Germany is building Miner's Mountain Express and Maximilian Roeser is the one who designed it.  It was great getting to meet him.  Don't worry, I did not pepper him with nerdy questions about designing a coaster (although if he wants me to...I'd be thrilled to hop on face time and do it).  Instead I just thanked him for all of the magic, joy, and fun that he brings into the world.  What a cool job
