As nice as it was out everyone wanted to soak up some sun and enjoy the warmth before winter arrived the next day.



 Honestly, the ACE Lounge is probably my favorite part of Coaster Christmas as it is an amazing place to connect with family and friends.



Thunderation was down to having only one train on the track so the Trailblazer "cut to the head of the line" passes that Coaster Christmas attendees were given worked out to be a blessing if you wanted to ride this fantastic Arrow Dynamics designed mine train.



What makes Thunderation so great is it perfectly uses the rides hillside location with the coaster twisting its way down the terrain.  Thunderation's lift isn't until two thirds of the ride is over with the big drop being the coasters finale.



For years the Grand Exposition has been a bit of a forgotten corner of Silver Dollar City as it has been a dead end.  In 2024 with the edition of the new Fire in the Hole, Firemen's Landing also became a dead end.  For 2025 Silver Dollar City connected those two dead ends to create The Plaza.  This new section of the park will be used not only to connect those sections but to be used as an event space for all of the various events that happen during Silver Dollar City's operating calendar.  It is a perfect place to turn into a theater, host a bunch of food trucks, or use as a gathering place.
