Looking further across the site you get a great view of Powder Keg's launch system as well as some forms for creating more concrete walls around the American Plunge's course.

Whatever they are adding it is good seeing the American Plunge getting some TLC so it can keep running for years to come.

Speaking of The American Plunge the little valley that could be seen from the walkway to Wildfire has now been completely enclosed in an extended tunnel.  That makes me wonder what changes are going to happen to this corner of the park between now and spring 2027.

With Silver Dollar massively expanding their land, adding a new hotel to the site, and starting on their new ride two years in advance, my money is that this is going to be something big.  I mean big as in capturing national headlines.

Here is a view of the site from over by Powder Keg.

My guess is they have been readying the site so whatever big construction needs to happen that will impact Wildfire or the American Plunge being able to operate, can happen once the park closes for the 2025 season.  This would make it so those rides can be back open in 2026 while construction moves to other sections of the site.  No matter what type of coaster it is I am budgeting for a season pass AND an All Season Trailblazer pass for 2027 so I can ride whatever it is as much as my heart desires.
