The night before a new coaster opens is kind of like Christmas Eve for me when I was a kid.  It is nearly impossible to fall asleep and as soon as the sun started to peek in around the hotel rooms curtains I was up and ready to go.



 On my way down to the new Fire District it was good to see that Silver Dollar City's newest store: Flanders Dry Goods, was ready to open up for all of those who need a new pair of pants because those "darn Baldknobbers stole 'em".



Sadie Flanders is quite the busy entrepreneur as she also has a new Pretzel Cafe where she plans of selling pretzel dogs and pretzel brats.



Silver Dollar City wasn't open this day but I was there bright and early to ride the new Fire in the Hole and to help promote the new version of this classic to numerous radio stations and one television stations during Fire in the Hole's VIP Preview event.



Having watched this come together over the last couple of years it felt so good to be at the point where I could finally see what a reborn Fire in the Hole would be like.
