Fire in the Hole at Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri

Also all around Silver Dollar City are little theming touches like this ghost trap.  Every few minutes another ghost is caught here before the trap resets itself.  It was fun just sitting and watching the expression on kids faces as another ghost is caught.

Also there are things like this look at the early days of Silver Dollar City.

When you peek through the holes in the fence there is a lovely diorama to look at.

The diorama was made by Gage Becker, age 14, from the Reeds Spring School.  What really endears Silver Dollar City to me is that they took the time and effort to showcase this diorama for all of those who can find it in the park.  All of these little things give guests one more smile, and one more memory to make their visit that more special and memorable.  The big things like rides mean a lot but all of the little touches do as well.

If you enjoyed a Pretzel Dog from Sadie's Pretzel Stand this corner over by Tom & Huck's RiverBlast is where it has been hidden all of these years.  Now they sell "mountain cookies" there so I'm going to have to snag one sometime to try it out.
