The first half of the ride is just non stop class four rapids followed by a nice interlude where your raft is hoisted up forty five feet in the air before careening down into...



 ...a body of water Shoot the Chutes style.



A word of warning if you don't care for wet feet then pack a spare set of flip flops to wear on Mystic River Falls as the bottom of your raft will be full of water by the end of the ride and your shoes will be completely submerged.  Take that as your tip of the day.  Your feet will thank you for packing along the flip flops.



Tom & Huck's River Blast is another ride I rarely get to see visiting in the winter. 



Splash Battle rides like this may not be a big draw but it is so much fun taking one for a ride and finding that everyone around you with a squirt gun suddenly goes all mercenary and it is every person for themselves.
