Brad quickly spilled the beans that all of the rumors were true, except for that one that the big building was going to be the worlds largest Dollar General store.  Brad went through how the park wanted to continue being a place where families and friends could come together and make memories while keeping and expanding on the classic Fire in the Hole experience. 

Brad is one of my favorite people in the theme park industry because he wonderfully positive and has worked to build a perfect park where guests can leave the world behind for some fun and all are welcomed as family.  Working in different industries as I have throughout my career you learn quickly that the tone of any business is set from the top and at Silver Dollar City that is Brad.  If you ever see him walking around the park say "hi" and engage him in a conversation and you'll see what I mean.



 After the presentation the Fire Marshall came out for one more official duty before it all came to a close.  Only properly deputized firefighters could go and take a look at the new ride.  So we all stood up, raised our right hand, and were sworn in.



Even though I had been in here the day before there's no way I'd pass by another chance to go take a look at a coaster under construction.



The Marshall was there telling all of his newly deputized firefighters about the calamity that we'd be fighting come next spring.



The huge hole in the side of Fire in the Hole's building was covered up with this massive sign that could be seen from across the park.
