Negative-G - Silver Dollar City

It is another year and time to head back down to one of my favorite theme parks on the planet: Silver Dollar City.

For years I have been running into Jill at Silver Dollar City. Her personality is just so joyous she certainly gets everyone's day at the city off to the right start.

It is great to walk through the gates, up the hill and into my favorite city.

That city of course is Silver Dollar City. Last year was the park's 60th anniversary. As so much of the fun was sucked out of the world in 2020 the park decided to continue the celebration into this year.

Sixty-one years ago the Hirschend family started adding old town buildings like this church around the entrance to their Marvel Cave Tour creating the park that is Silver Dollar City.

It has always been a wonderful thing that the park has services in this church for guests and employees. I've never gone but to me the entire park is a place where I feel closer to God and on a coaster is where I do most of my praying.
