I always seem to forget that there is an additional themed area on the top of the park out past Echo Hollow.

The Grand Exposition has a wonderful collection of flat rides and a kiddie coaster. The reason I probably forget it is there isn't a big attraction back here to get my attention. Hopefully one of these days Silver Dollar City adds something back here to make this wonderful but overlooked corner of the park the center of my attention.

My mother is a massive fan of flying carousels like the Wave Carousel so I had to take a ride for her.

As she is 73 and with a pacemaker and needs oxygen I don't think she'll get to ride one of these; or the swing rides that go 200+ feet into the sky like she wants to.

Down the hill there was a nice new edition as the sign for Mystic River Falls had arrived.
