With the leaves turning and a chill in the air that means that it is the season...Coaster Christmas season.

Coaster Christmas is an event that Silver Dollar City and the American Coaster Enthusiasts Heart of America Region puts on each fall to go along with the parks An Old Time Christmas celebration.  This year with a brand new coaster on the way there were quite a few enthusiasts who wanted to come and see what surprises Santa was going to have under the tree for us in the new year.



 Coaster Christmas went from having 104 people attend last year to a record number 186 this year.



Coaster Christmas traditionally starts with a breakfast made up of some of Silver Dollar City's freshly baked pastries along with a hot cup of coffee, hot chocolate or
 wassail.  Once everyone was warmed by the drink and filled with pastries the presentations began.



Silver Dollar City's General Manager Brad Thomas started off the presentations with a discussion of the parks new Christmas in Midtown addition to An Old Time Christmas and what everyone was really excited to hear about: Time Traveler.



Schlitterbahn's Winter Prosapio is a Coaster Christmas regular.  Even though it is not swimsuit weather she always get everyone ready for a little sun, fun and water at Schlitterbahn. 

In addition to Silver Dollar City and Schlitterbahn there was a video from Six Flags St. Louis and as the Regional Representative who orchestrated this whole shindig with the park I had to get up and give a talk.  As we finished up the presentations everyone got a little Coaster Christmas SWAG consisting of a beach towel and tickets from Schlitterbahn and Time Traveler fidget spinners and big bag of candy from Silver Dollar City.
