An Old Time Christmas at Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri

With much of the evening before and half of this day working on running the event after the tour of Time Traveler it was time to spend a little quality time with my wife Carrie as this is one of the rare occasions when I get to a park with her.  I have to admit that I am the reason she really is no longer a huge park fan because as you can see from this massive testament to to my coaster obsession that is this website is a testament to.  So for amusement parks I burned her out a little bit.  Silver Dollar City is one of the parks that she really enjoys going to (partially because it has a yarn/fiber store) so it was nice spending some time with her at her speed enjoying what she likes.

I did have to introduce her to something that I like and that is  hot apple dumplings and cinnamon ice cream.  Good Lord it is the perfect thing to warm you up on a cool November day.

While for the most part Carrie could care less about riding coasters one of the rides she will do with me at Silver Dollar City is the Flooded Mine.

I love how festive all of the prisoners are during this time of the year.

As usual Bond and I had to have a shoot out in the Flooded Mine as it is a tradition and as the tradition goes I always completely destroy him score wise.
