The American Coaster Enthusiasts Coaster Christmas event at Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri

Silver Dollar City is a magical place on a normal day...

...but cover the park in a few million lights, deck it out with Christmas trees a plenty and the park is just plain amazing.

The first thing for Coaster Christmas is a little get together with presentations from Silver Dollar City, Legoland Discovery Center Kansas City, Six Flags St. Louis and Schlitterbahn.

Legoland Discovery Center in Kansas City showed up everything that goes into creating a themed attraction. Six Flags St. Louis previewed Holiday In The Park. Schlitterbahn Kansas City got us all craving warm weather so we could hit the waterslides. Silver Dollar City did mention the giant construction project going on but we would find out more in August 2017. They did mention to go and take a look from the Culinary Arts & Crafts School which we will do in a little bit.

As this is Coaster Christmas at the end of the presentations there were presents for everyone. We had Legos from Legoland, bags from Schlitterbahn and a super gift bag from Silver Dollar City with dink bottles, peanut brittle and t-shirts. Quite the Christmas haul if you ask me.

In my opinion the best gift that we were all given for Coaster Christmas was a Super Trailblazer Pass which let all of us jump to the head of the line for all of Silver Dollar City's major rides. There was no exclusive ride time for this event but without having to wait for anything from the Frisco Train to Outlaw Run we all were able to enjoy the entire park without having to wait in line. Needless to say we all enjoyed Silver Dollar City to the most throughout the day.
