The American Coaster Enthusiasts Coaster Christmas event at Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri

Of course in between enjoying all of the lights we did spend some serious time enjoying the rides at Silver Dollar City. Here is Mike, Elizabeth and Rayne getting ready to take Powder Keg for a blast out into the wilderness.

I'm not sure why Bond has "crazy eyes" there but he and John were obviously all psyched up for some Powder Keg.

The Frisco Steam Train during an Old Time Christmas is turned into one of the most touching celebrations of the season. The train takes you out into the woods with a soundtrack of Christmas favorites that everyone ends up singing along with.

Deep out in the woods the Frisco Steam Train stops off at Grandfathers house where like at our house on Christmas Eve the story of the Nativity is read.

It is a nice reminder that the season is not about gifts, toys, baubles or Santa but is about the coming of a baby who would change the world.
