There are so many reasons to loathe winter. It is cold. You feel no warmth from the sun even on a sunny day. Ice is everywhere. Snow keeps coasters from running. To round it all off winter is just plain depressing.

Needless to say when spring finally rolls around and amusement parks slowly start to come out of hibernation Bond and I are chomping at the bit to get out of the house and ride.

This is how winter makes me feel.

We actually got to Silver Dollar City nice and early in order to take a look at the shops, check out some of the craftsmen before speed walking down the hill with one goal in mind.

That goal was to kick off our 2015 coaster season on the one coaster on the planet you DON'T want to miss.
