Here's Brian deep underground in M
arvel Cave.
This is one of the more notable formations in Marvel Cave. One
day back in the 1800's a boy with blonde hair got lost inside of
Marvel Cave. He was found sleeping at the base of their
formation. The first thing the rescuers saw was his blonde
hair so as a result they named this "Blondie's Throne".
Here are the guys in one of Marvel Cave's passages.
Here's Bond taking the weight off of his feet some five hundred feet
beneath the surface. Thankfully this time the lower levels of
the cave weren't flooded and at the end of the tour we were able to
take the incline railway back to ground level instead of taking all
of those flights of stairs like the last time.
In the end we had a fun couple of full days at Silver Dollar City.
We rode, and rode and rode to our hearts content. We screamed
our heads off on some of the best rides on the planet. We
filled our stomachs with a wide variety of tasty skillets. We
got wet. We got whipped around. We got twisted upside
down. We plunged to the earth at speeds that felt out of
control. But in the end this hobby and what all of us were
there for is none of that. This hobby is about having fun.
It's about having fun with your friends. It's about having fun
with your family. It is also about having fun with friends
like mine who have became family.
The experiences with those people are the real fortunes in this
world and each time I go on an adventure with Bond and our coaster
family I just get richer and richer.
