It is time for Silver Dollar City's favorite game show...Spin The Buggy Wheel Of Fortune!  Here is today's lucky contestant Bond as he spins the Wheel of Fortune.



I think things are going to be quite confounding for Bond as his fortune is "Welcome to the state of confusion".



This is one very lucky dog because it gets to come to Silver Dollar City every day and get petted by all sorts of people.



Where you'll find this puppy is in the station for Fire in the Hole.  If you've never been on Fire in the Hole it is Silver Dollar City's indoor coaster/dark ride that takes you through a burning town after a gang of "Baldknobbers" ransacked the town and set it ablaze.  The station is themed to that of a firehouse and if you're going to theme it to the hilt like Silver Dollar City does then it is the perfect place for a Dalmatian to serve as the fire company's mascot.



Dalmatians ended up becoming closely linked to fire houses because back in the days before the internal combustion engine the way the firemen got to the fire was via a horse drawn fire engine.  Horses can get a bit worked up, especially around a fire but Dalmatians have a calming effect on horses so the fire companies horses would each have their own pet Dalmatian to help calm it and also the dogs would deter horse thieves from running off with the horses.  After horses and the horse drawn fire engines became a thing of the past firemen kept the Dalmatians as a tradition.

So when you're at Silver Dollar City go take Fire in the Hole for a ride and make sure you give this puppy some petting.
