Journey to Atlantis was SeaWorld San Diego's first coaster when it opened in 2004.



It is a Mack rides water coaster. 



Of course with "water" before the word "coaster" Journey to Atlantis is more about getting wet than being a coaster.



You do get wonderfully wet on Journey to Atlantis.



The second half of the ride is where Journey to Atlantis is really a coaster.
