After my nerve wracking experience walking the Ghostly Gangplank Keith
and Fred, who are old coaster friends of ours took us to the Twin Cities
Steak House for a really wonderful meal. I highly suggest it as it's
only a few steps from the park (go under the Ferris Wheel out into the mall
and take a right), it's nice and quiet and the food was awesome. It
was great place to chat and for me to calm down. Besides the older
I get I love more than riding coasters is getting the chance to sit down
with some of the great friends that I have met through this hobby and just
have some fun chatting and hanging out.
It hade been a while since Bond and I competed at shooting ghosts so after
dinner and Keith, Fred and Jerry took off we headed for a ride on the Ghost
Blasters.
Shoot-em-up dark rides like Ghost Blasters are fun and they offer me a chance
to whoop Bond's butt at something. The sad thing is I only have a
few more years then he'll be the one whooping my butt on these as he figures
out how to shoot.
For the rest of the evening we spent our time just going from ride to ride
getting as much as we could knowing that we still had months of winter left
to go until the real season kicked off.
