Across from the Fairly Odd Coaster is one of my favorite log flumes,
the Log Chute. It takes you on a twisting journey with a couple of
lifts and big drops through and around a mountain. Inside the mountain
are scenes of logging camps as well as an up close run in with Paul Bunyan
and Babe the Blue Ox. It's perfect theming and plenty of fun.
I just cross my fingers and hope that the rumors of it being re-themed to
the horribly stupid "Barnyard" show (The people who are behind
Barnyard are so stupid they have male cows with UDDERS! Come on, I'm
from the city and I know that you can't milk a male cow!) are false or not
going to happen because it'll just detract from a completely perfect ride.
It's time to get atomic on the Jimmy Neutron Atomic Collider. Speaking
of Nickelodeon shows while Barnyard takes stupid down to a new level I have
always loved watching Jimmy Neutron.
There are only a couple of rides like Jimmy Neutron's Atomic Collider in
the world and I'm a big fan of them. They're basically airtime, laterals
and an even bigger helping of more airtime.
I was excited to get Bond on this figuring that he'd love it. He did
love it until half the way through the ride where he got sick. We
got off of it and Bond declared that he needed a coaster in order to feel
better so we headed off to take the Rock Bottom Plunge again.
Coaster #55 for Bond was the Back to the Barnyard (Ugh I loathe that show)
Hayride. We got on it, got the credit and then got off. There
are much more fun and important things to ride.
