The Big Bad John Rollercoaster at Magic Springs Amusement Park, Hot Springs, AR

Big Bad John takes you on a nice but not intense ride out through the woods and hilly terrain of Magic Springs.

Great Coasters International, who are known for wooden coasters like Thunderhead or the Ozark Wildcat came in and were hired to do the supports for Big Bad John.  I'm certain they had a bit of work getting this coaster that was custom designed for the terrain of Six Flags St. Louis to work here at Magic Springs.

I understand that this gate leads to under the coaster that is an off limits area for park guests but what is to keep say a bunch of teenagers from heading right on through it since it's not only unsecured but wide open?

We also noticed this light on Big Bad John's exit.  I'm no electrician but I'm pretty sure that this light filled with water is at the least a bit unsafe or dangerous.  Stuff like this and the bolts sitting on Gauntlet's lift didn't make me feel super safe or trusting of the rides at Magic Springs.
