This little memorial garden marks the spot where Magic Springs S&S
Double Shot Dr. Dean's Rocket Machine once stood. Unfortunately a
previous management group thought that turning a park in the middle of
Arkansas where rivers and lakes abound into a water park was a good
idea. As a result Magic Springs lost this ride, a Power Surge, a
Flying Carousel and more as that management group slowly stripped the
park of rides.
Thankfully though that management group is gone so interesting things
just might happen to this park in the future.
When Bond and I visited last year there was one coaster he was unable to
add to his coaster count and...
...this year Diamond Mine Run was ready for him.
Diamond Mine Run is a really fun little coaster by E&F Miler Industries.
Miler made a name for themselves in the 1950's building Wild Mouse
coasters and through the years got out of the business until a new
generation came on to bring the company back to life starting in the
1990's.
Diamond Mine Run was added to the park in 2000 when the park reopened
after five years and has been a great first coaster for budding coaster
enthusiasts in Arkansas.
