Yuta Falls flume ride at Lost Island Theme Park, Waterloo, Iowa

Yuta Falls does an exceptional job at getting riders nice and socked.

Here is one last photo of Yuta Falls. The ride certainly fills a void that Lost Island had last year but it needs a little more added to it for it to be a great ride and add to the experience that the park is trying to create.

Matugani and the Yuta Falls weren't the only new additions for 2023. The inhabitants of Lost Island were a fantastic addition to the park this year.

Lost Island has inhabitants from all of the realms wandering the park, helping tell the tales from their realms, and performing the Lost Island Legend Ceremony at the front of the park that tells the history and mythology of the island. Just like the app, dictionary, language, these wandering inhabitants add yet another layer to the rich storytelling that is Lost Island.

After spending time in the lands of the Mura and Yuta it was time to visit the Awa Water Realm.
