The Nopuko Sky Coaster is our second new coaster of the day.

The Nopuko Sky Coaster at Lost Island Theme Park, Waterloo, Iowa

It is a Suspended Looping Coaster designed by Vekoma.

This ride began its life at South Africa's Ratanga Junction in 1998 as the Cobra.

Ratanga Junction closed in 2018 and shortly afterwards word got out in the coaster enthusiast community, where gossip travels faster than light, that this coaster too was headed to Iowa.

Between arriving in the States in 2019 and now Lost Island brought in an outside firm to completely rehab this coaster from the ground on up including use of Vekoma's vest restraints instead of the painful over the head restraints.
