The Mura Realm at Lost Island Theme Park, Waterloo, Iowa

Having made our way through the realms of the Tamariki, Udara, Awa, Yuta and Mura realms our journey through Lost Island came to an end.

This year with inflation, gas prices going insane, and all of the struggles to get this park up and running it really impressed me that Lost Island took this year as a "soft open" to work out all of the issues that come with running a theme park. They knew the park wasn't 100% but opened their doors to those who would visit and learned from the experience. Yes the park needs more seating, shade, some of the rides need to be tweaked while others need to open but even with all of that happening we had a fantastic day at Lost Island.

I say we blame the mischievous Tamariki for everything.

Lost Island's main gift store is all themed up too.

One of these cute stuffed Tamiriki now resides in my "coaster room" keeping me on my toes with its mischievous ways and reminding me of a really wonderful time at Lost Island. With as much fun as we had at an incomplete Lost Island you all need to start planning a trip there in 2023 to get the full experience.
