Matugani in Yuta mythology was a large snake that inhabited the jungle of the Yuta realm.

Matugani certainly has a few coils to send riders through.

If Matugani rides as good as the coaster looks I kind of think this will be Lost Island's big ride for a few years.

The park has plans for at least one more large ride and several smaller in each of the lands which means that as long as people visit Lost Island there should be more rides on the way.

When we visited Matugani was the ride that needed the most work to get it ready to open. Writing this in June of 2022, Lost Island announced that Matugani would not open with the park due to the messy supply chain world we find ourselves in but they were working to get it open as soon as possible. Hopefully it'll be open late July when I plan to head back to Waterloo to experience Lost Island as a living and breathing theme park.
