There are many other rides in Lost Island but outside of the
Ferris wheel at the center of the park, and the suspended coaster over
in Udara, this coaster is the final part of Lost Island that we were
able to photograph.
Like Lost Island's suspended coaster, this ride has had a previous life
at another park. It originally opened at Liesberg in Sweden as
Kanonen in 2005.
When it was closed in 2016 and word leaked out that it was heading to
Iowa coaster sleuths started looking into Lost Island.
This coaster is a hydraulically launched Intamin Accelerator model
coaster that starts out with a launch from standing still to forty-six
miles an hour in two seconds.
After getting up to speed the train will go over this seventy-eight foot
tall top hat before diving into a maelstrom of track.
