We walked by this little nondescript building a few times before I finally asked the gentleman sitting out front what it was.  It turns out that Little Amerricka has an old school walk through fun house.

While Bond can tackle the scariest coasters on the planet walking through a dark place where things can pop out at him is something he's not really interested in so I took on this fun house alone.

Like most fun houses eventually you'll trip a switch as you walk through the dark maze triggering a light shining on a monster and some sound effects to scare some fun out of you.  It's cheesy (well we are in Wisconsin - America's Dairyland) but pretty fun.

It's a Super Mario Tilt-A-Whirl!  Bond pointed this out.  Mario's appearance in the middle of the park was kind of weird but whatever I guess.

This is a cool idea.  While Little Amerricka closes up after Labor Day they open up the train and a few other attractions like the Meteor for the Halloween and Christmas season.  You can take the train out to the pumpkin patch for the perfect jack-o-lantern for Halloween or to get a tree for Christmas.  That just sounds like fun.  Maybe one of these years we'll head on up to Wisconsin for a weekend, take a train ride and then head on home with our Christmas tree in the back of the van.

Both Bond and I loved Little Amerricka.  While not being that old it was a throw back to small traditional parks like Knoebels or Conneaut Lake Park and is really something special.  I know we're going to be back, especially when they add their copy of the Lincoln Park Comet.  If you're in Wisconsin and want a fun afternoon at a great traditional amusement park head on over to Marshall Wisconsin and visit Little Amerricka.
