I know this photo taken across Lakemont Park's maintenance are isn't the prettiest but the coaster in the background is a miracle.

It is not a miracle in the Biblical meaning of the word but this coaster shouldn't be here.

Leap The Dips was the big addition to Lakemont Park for its third year as an amusement park in 1902.

At 113 years old at the time of our visit it is by far the worlds oldest roller coaster.

The next oldest coaster; The Scenic Railway at Luna Park in Melbourne Australia, is a decade younger  than Leap the Dips.
