The Cannon Ball doesn't have
individual lap bars like most coasters but instead has the classic "buzz
bars" that used to be standard on wood coasters to lock you and
your riding partner in. Jim and I tried out the front, back and
middle and there was no bad seat on the Cannon Ball. That's the
mark of a great coaster.
Wild Lightnin' was added to
Lake Winnie in 2001. It was originally named "Wild Thing"
but another amusement park far away had a coaster named that and asked
Lake Winnie to change the name. So it changed from a Wild Thing
to Wild Lightnin'.
Wild Lightnin' is a wild mouse
coaster that was built by L&T Systems. It is packed with plenty
of insanely sharp turns and some wicked drops.
In addition to the turns and
dips the Wild Lightnin' sends you speeding through and very close to
it's structure for some additional thrills.
Here I am enjoying a good ride
on the Wild Lightnin'.
