To go along with the Civil War heritage of the area one of the trains is painted blue and the other is grey.  US soldiers wore blue and the Confederate soldiers bleached the uniforms they had until they were grey.

The Cannon Ball is one of the few wooden coasters built in the 1960's which was a very dry period of coaster building.

Here's the great view you get at the top of the Cannon Ball's 70 foot lift hill.

The great John Allen of designed the Cannon Ball as your basic out and back coaster with plenty of airtime.

Another train heads on down for a great ride!  Lake Winnie's train goes right under the drop and in the background is a bunch of wood.  The Cannon Ball needs a bit of TLC and hopefully the wood is for some over the winter.
