The second ride at Lake Compounce that dates back to 1911 is Lake Compounce's Carousel.



This carousel was added to Lake Compounce in 1911 although it dates back to the 1890's when it opened at the nearby Savin Rock Amusement Park.



Ever since he was little Bond's job has been to pick our horses.  It is tradition so he doesn't mind still doing it as a teenager.



All of the horses on this classic carousel are really well cared for by Lake Compounce.



This carousel is a Charles Loof creation and you can really can see the life in the hand carved horses.
