For as old a ride as the Wildcat is Lake Compounce has taken pretty good care of it. Back in 1985 they had the whole ride rebuilt in order to keep it running great.

It's not Boulder Dash by far but the Wildcat you can see by the look on everyone's faces is a lot of fun.

I expected the Wildcat to be fun but it was even better than I expected. Even though it's overshadowed by it's younger sibling on the other side of the midway don't miss out on taking the Wildcat for a ride.

I do like the name for Lake Compounce's drop ride. It's probably one of the more imaginative names for one out there.
