The Lakeside Trolley takes you of course along the lakeside and out to Lake Compounce's Sky Ride. We were all eager to hop on but with the setting sun and it being a long ride they had just closed off the line when we got there. I can understand not running this in the dark as if anything happened up there any sort of rescue on that rocky terrain in the dark would not be easy.

This was a bit of a trip for me because food carts at parks in the Midwest sell ice cream or maybe a corn dog but out here in New England you've got Clam Chowder and Lobster Bisque instead.

We were so excited to see Flyers at Lake Compounce. We got in line and then noticed how slow it went and how they barely swung out and decided not to waste our time. This was our big disappointment at Lake Compounce.
