Beyond the Lagoon Railroad is Lagoon's actual lagoon.
In addition to picnic pavilions parks need more green space like this
where guests can go take their shoes off, feel the grass between their
toes and stretch out under a tree for a little peaceful relaxation.
Heading past the lagoon and towards the back of the park you come to
Lagoon's Pioneer Village.
Wanting to remember as well as make Utah's past come alive Lagoon
purchased historic buildings and added this section to the park in 1976.
Inside of the Village's buildings are exhibits from the likes of the
print shop to a bakery to the Mormon Furniture Exhibit.
Bond found this weird booth with a cell phone like machine attached to
another machine that was fastened to the wall. Instead of a screen
there was a weird rotor with numbers and he really wasn't sure how to
operate the entire contraption. Afterwards he pulled his IPhone
out of his pocket and texted his girlfriend half the way across the
continent.
