Beyond the Lagoon Railroad is Lagoon's actual lagoon.

In addition to picnic pavilions parks need more green space like this where guests can go take their shoes off, feel the grass between their toes and stretch out under a tree for a little peaceful relaxation.

Heading past the lagoon and towards the back of the park you come to Lagoon's Pioneer Village.

Wanting to remember as well as make Utah's past come alive Lagoon purchased historic buildings and added this section to the park in 1976.  Inside of the Village's buildings are exhibits from the likes of the print shop to a bakery to the Mormon Furniture Exhibit.
