HangTime is a perfect example of why lap bars are so much better than over the shoulder restraints. You are completely secured with the lap bar but without the cumbersome over the shoulder restraints your brain sends off more red flags as you hang there upside down.

As HangTime heads for the double inversion cobra roll finale what did I think of HangTime.

HangTime is a huge win. Every seat on the train rocks but I really enjoyed the back as getting whipped over the edge of the first drop gives some phenomenal airtime. I'd be thrilled if Cedar Fair would add these coasters to their parks; especially smaller parks like Worlds of Fun or ValleyFair.

The American Coaster Enthusiasts Coaster Con 42 at Knott's Berry Farm, Buena Park, California

Cedar Fair purchased Knott's Berry Farm from the Knott family back in 1997. As was the standard with Cedar Fair back then each park had to have a Coasters Restaurant and a S&S tower ride.

Thankfully Knott's Berry Farm didn't take the standard "Power Tower" name for this ride. Instead they went for Supreme Scream.

I do have a fond memory of this ride during my first visit. Our friend Matthew "Mamoosh" Sullivan conned Carrie into taking this for a ride. He kept her from watching the ride and once she was shot down the three hundred and fifteen foot tower cuss words from her mouth could be heard all over Buena Park, California.
