The Phoenix after all of these years and all of the coasters that I have added to my count still ranks #5 on my list.



It is a classic wooden airtime machine that performs like no other.



The Phoenix's layout is real simple; drop, turn, drop, airtime hills, turn, drop, airtime hills, turn, airtime hills, turn, brake run. 



The Phoenix is all about airtime and that is what it gives you as you traverse its figure eight 3,200 feet of track.



Riding in my favorite seat (1.3) I counted sixteen moments of airtime on The Phoenix.  Those pops of air aren't little ones.  The Phoenix sends you flying up into the one position lap bar each and every time.
