The new for 2014 Banshee Inverted Rollercoaster Media Day at Kings Island, Kings island, Ohio

The thing is the second half of Banshee is located about fifty feet lower than the first half of the ride.

You come out of the zero g roll thinking you've already hit top speed but then you dive a further fifty feet down to the base of the double looping "pretzel loop".

Banshee just has a 150 foot first drop but the total vertical difference of 208 feet over the entire ride.

At the bottom of the pretzel the added speed unexpectedly slams you down into your seat almost taking the wind out of you. I love it when a ride is able to throw in a surprise or two like that.

Also down in the valley sits Banshee's second vertical loop.
