Drop Tower is a nice intense cup of adrenaline when you come speeding
down it's two-hundred and sixty-four feet drop. If you're not awake
and alert by the time you hit the brakes then you might be dead.
Since we were back in that corner of the park Bond and I took the hike back
to Flight Deck to ride one of the few remaining suspended coasters.
I have heard a few rumors of it's demise but I think there's another coaster
that will hit the chopping block at Kings Island first.
Speaking of what's going to be taken out this just might be that mystery
coaster. It has no sign. It has no entrance. It is not
on the park map. Just maybe, hopefully (well except for our friend
Nick who likes it) this abomination will be removed from Kings Island's
skyline and replaced with something that can be easily described as an epic
fail as Son of Beast did.
If it's a hot day and Bond's at a park that has a Shoot the Chutes type
ride, well then her just has to ride it. Not enjoying being soaked
to the bone and spending the rest of the day with squishy shoes I patiently
wait for Bond when he needs a fix.
Kings Island's Shoot the Chutes ride is called Congo River Falls and as
it was hot I told him to hop on and get drenched. Being the thrill
seeker her of course went for the back seat.
