Diamondback really kicks the water up into the sky.
From what I hear on opening day those in the back seat really got soaked
but since then they have adjusted the nozzles so that the only way you'll
get wet is if you reach back into the spray. Bond and I did and then
flicked the water at each other.
Diamondback's splashdown is really an awesome way to end the ride but I
wish there were a way for onlookers to share in some of the splash as it
might be fun.
My verdict on Diamondback is it's one hell of a fun ride. It's no
top ten coaster as it just doesn't have the insanity and aggressiveness
that I crave but it's well worth hopping in a full line for a ride.
Oh, if the queue is full get in anyway because this ride eats people and
the longest we waited was maybe twenty-five minutes.
Firehawk was our next stop as Mike wanted to give it a ride. Bond
wasn't wanting to try a flying coaster yet so we sat this one out.
Mike got in line and it promptly broke so we were off to grab another ride
on The Racer, Adventure Express, Beast, Vortex and of course Diamondback.
