On May 30th 2000 I finally got to start my 2000 coaster season. After the birth of my son Bond I thought it only appropriate to start off the season by riding the Son Of Beast. Well everything did not go as planned as the Son of Beast was not open due to some maintenance problems. Here's a nice shot of Sonnys enormous lift hill from the midway.

Here's a nice shot of the complete ride from the Eiffel tower. You'll notice the Son Of Beast's unique element the loop near the bottom of the lift hill.

Here's a closer look at one of the helixes and the loop. The coaster covered in trees in the foreground is the great Arrow mine train the Adventure Express which is way fun.

Here's a nice shot of the Son Of Beast's lift hill from Top Gun's exit. Sonny has one enormous hill of wood! Hopefully this will be running in June (it should) when I get back there.

From the big ride to PKI's little ride the Taxi Jam. This is one of those rides that most coaster enthusiasts have not been on as you need to be accompanied by a little child to ride.
