Hey Kings Island fans...remember the Flyers?  Yeah they are at Kings Dominion and I had a fantastic time putting on an aerobatic show as I rode the Flying Eagles.



 While the Old Virginia part of the park is devoid of most of Kings Dominion's thrill rides the area of the park certainly has a lot of charm.



I do really like the Shenandoah Lumber Company Log Flume that was one of Kings Dominion's original attractions.



It takes you out through the woods that have grown up around the ride with a relaxing float that ends in a refreshing splashdown that helps make a hot June day more bearable.



While the Blue Ridge Toll Road might not take you though the mountains or even near a ridge it is a nice drive through the woods of Old Virginia.
