Kennywood launched fireworks of all colors and the best place to view
them was from the bridge that crosses the lagoon. Just make sure to
get there early to get a good spot.
With the Racer silhouetted by the light of fireworks it was a great way
to end a great day and a great trip but our fun was not done with quite
yet.
After the sound of the fireworks faded off into a distant echo and most
of Kennywood fell silent and dark those of us attending Kennycon still had
an hour of intense riding ahead of us as The Phantom was ready to really
show us how it is done.
Here are John and Draven enjoying one of the few remaining rides of our
five day seven park Pennsylvania trip.
We had a blast with the two of them, we had a blast with all the friends
who joined us along the way and by the time the last train of the day on
the Phantom's Revenge pulled into the station we were completely spent,
thoroughly satisfied, blown away and good to go home.
Kennywood and many of the parks in Pennsylvania I wish were just a quick
drive away but the question is would I appreciate them as much if they were
easy to get to? I honestly don't know but as much as I like them I
will be back and I look forward to having new and old friends along with
me for the ride.
