In front of the Thunderbolt is a
great plaza where it's just nice to hang out. They have the potato
patch French fries there for the food and the classic Turtle ride.
After the bowl you head on back
to the ravine for the final two turns of the ride.
After diving under the Steel Phantom's
second drop which will sadly not be there next year you turn around
for the Thunderbolt's big finale.
The final 90 foot drop into the
ravine before heading back up the hill into the station! All in
all the Thunderbolt was a super ride! I had been dreaming
it for well over a decade and after riding it I want to ride it some
more, the only problem is that it's a ten hour drive away, bummer
The Turtle, my first Harry Traver
ride. It's quite fun. Basically you sit in a turtle and
go around a circular track with humps in it. Get to know your
riding companions before riding this because you'll get to know them
on the ride.
