Kennywood is one of those great
parks that are a joy just to walk through. It's full of little
walkways covered by trees with some of the best rides in the world nearby.
It's the kind of a place that you'll
see a band walking around playing jazz with.
Kennywood is a superb mixture of
the old and the new, the slow and the fast and the big and the small.
It's a trip back in time and a great slice of today.
Here's the Racer from across the
lake. Like I said earlier Kennywood is a great place to walk around,
who wouldn't want to spend a day walking around with views (and rides)
like these.
It's kind of hard to get many pictures
of the Racer as it goes out away from the park. One thing you
must do is try to hand slap the other train as you pass by. A
neat feature that was designed into this that I wish had been put into
other racing coasters is that you start out on one side of the station
and end up at the other side so they have to race the coasters at all
times.
