The drops starts normal but when you reach this point while riding in the
back your whole body is unexpectedly ejected upwards like a rag doll into
your restraints. If you're riding with your arms raised for
your first ride you'll have to fight with yourself to keep them there because
the urge to hold on for dear life will become overpowering.
Between the bottom of the first drop and this pass next to the station is
some of the most intense track on a coaster out there. Once your rear
finally comes back into contact with your seat after being sent skyward
half way down the first drop it's not going to stay there long as there
are two rapid fire little hills that are better categorized as speed bumps
that eject you again and again.
The whole lower level of the Boardwalk Bullet is taken at high speed and
with all of the structure flying past you it seems even faster.
This high point about half the way through the ride is one of the few areas
on the ride where you can get a breath in. It's actually kind of a
deceiving moment because you feel like all of the intense parts of the ride
must be over and you get this nice sense of calm as the train slowly makes
it to the crest. Then of course all hell brakes loose again as you're
plunged back down into the structure.
I've met all of the guys from The Gravity Group who designed the Boardwalk
Bullet as well as Hades and The Voyage and they're extremely nice guys to
hang with but they've all got to have some deep-seated rage issues that
only come out in their designs. All I have to say guys is don't seek
counseling just keep up the therapy through work.
